yorke_angler 0
Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone here repairs rods, and lives/works in the northern suburbs? On one of my starlo stix pro mid spin's the last guide on the tip has popped off, it doesnt look like its snapped though. I still have the guide and would like to get it fixed asap, so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.. thanks.

__matt__ 0
get a glue stick from a glue gun. hold a lighter next to it. dab some of the melted glue on the end of the blank, then slide the tip guide on. wipe away excess. donezo.
afishyfish 4
If you're really stuck. try Rob Wison at Sth Oz Rods. He's in hampstead gardens, so hopefully fairly close

If not, then the guide may be squashed slightly
afishyfish 4
Yep the rods tip should slide into the hollow "shaft" part of the guide.Normally both the rod and the insertion area would be round, so I'm a bit unsure what the exact problem is

Dubs The Tackle Man 0
How did you get on Yorkey, It sounds like you still have the sleeve from the last tip still on your rod heat it up with a lighter and pull off the little metal sleeve with pliers or you dont have the right size tip, if your still having trouble bring it into Tackleworld Salisbury and we'll have a look.Dubs
