    Due to there not being so many salmon comp entries we are going to extend the comp until August 31st. Come on guys, more action with these comps will ensure that there are more comps.

    Oh and the time was about an hour before high tide which was about 3:15pm that day. We fished until after the sun went down.

    We used pillies, half a pillie for me on two gang hooks, may have been 2/0's. Then when I ran out of bait (I didn't take enough) I was just using the heads my mate was discarding they were still biting hard.

    Those Butterworth rods are the most awesome rods out according to my mate haha He just bought a few of his mate that will be matched with Alvey's. Apparently we'll be slaying the salmon with them. Never used an Alvey, here's to monumental stuff ups and a learning curve

    I'm one of the the "a plate of bait?" kinda fishos. I'd give it a go but I reckon I'd need a few beverages to get the courage up first. Does look good though!

    We did have a pub meal catch up kinda thing a while back, seemed a hit back then. Timing it right can be awkward to get good numbers to attend.
