Hi everyone, you may have noticed that the Boat Fishing game is back up and running and you still have a chance to win a registration key for My Fishing ScrapbookYou actually have a better chance of winning now with Strike & Hook members in the top 3 winning and also a randomly selected Strike & Hook member from anywhere in the top 50. This will give those who aren't as lucky to be in with a chance. The winners or any potential user of MFS will need to download the new, non timed expired version which is now available at the My Fishing Scrapbookwebsite. The past months winners are: clark who made it into the top 3 and fisho86 who was randomly selected.Congratulations to you both you will be receiving a PM soon with your key.

I came across A Passion for Angling a little while back, great series! It was good to see a fishing show that wasn't all slap in ya face action with all the latest bells n whistles and hey look at my sponsored 4wd and bling rods n reels but two English gentlemen going out for a quiet fish with their old gear the traditional way.Good stuff

I'd be giving the salmon a go I reckon. Wouldn't mind heading down and flicking some salmon slugs around off the beach later on today. :f

Mojiko's from Anaconda, I got mine when they were on special a month or so ago. Recommended by Southie and I have to say awesome decision. Used em 3 times so far and they rock, no leaks, keep me warm and dry the way they should.

I'll be continuing to try to crack a decent Salmon off the local beach, still haven't cracked the 1kg mark, came pretty close but no cigar. Also be hitting the fresh targeting reddies and trout. Great reddy sesh with Uhf recently so went back with my old man yesterday to hit it up again and they decided not to play at all it seems dad's a bad luck charm Give's me inspiation to give the place another crack some time soon

Awesome I bought a whole bunch of these lures when I started fishing not knowing anything about lures, still don't know too much, got them real cheap off eBay and after a while thought bugger cheap eBay lures probably wont work very well :laugh:Perhaps it's time to dust em off and give em a crack

Cheers everyone for ya input. So far I've tried 3 metal slugs...[ul] [li]Gillies white bait (one of the small ones) caught a few ST's [/li] [li]Gillies Pilchard (30g) caught a few ST's [/li] [li]Halco Twisty Chrome (30g) also caught a few ST's[/li][/ul]I like the metal slugs, have to try one of those Raiders, they just look cool.I think this year my mission will be to catch an ST / decent Salmon on the weirdest metal shiny thing I can come up with
-
Definitely going to hit the salmon seriously this year as I haven't hit them at all before  I've heard salmon will take pretty much any metal slug so will probably go through a few of those but...Just wondering what everyone's favourite go to lure is. Brand, style etc etcCheers
