  1. Used coloured Gents years ago from AAron (sheldons baits) Were the Bees knees. Every Session used with them outfished people next to us using normal gents. Old fellas were getting shitty with us! Certainly not an newer concept...
  2. Where did you hear that keenfisho? Tonics crap on everything else, period!, Does anyone know who originally made the brand spotters? Doug Phillips, who makes now tonics? Doug Phillips. Interested to know if you had glass lenses Southie or poly? Glass mate.. The only reason i bought them was because of the exact reason of Doug Phillips... I dont know maybe i just was unlucky but certainly wasn't impressed
  3. I like that Idea.... I was hoping to go by the Theory Take only what I will use... However IF your on a hot session and run out of bait I'd Be spewing..
  4. His redfin Spinnerbaits Catch trout
  5. Okay so now i have my fishing mojo back and I am starting to broaden My Horizion again by Using "bait" Just Wondering What people do with there bait..... Usually I buy the bait I want and take it with me, but When I finish I can't be bothered taking it home so i Give it to someone around me or I just throw it away.. So how do you fishos combat this? I was thinking of buying bulk bait and then separating them into plastic takeaway containers and marking what it can be used for? What other methods have people used To store and take Bait when out fishing?

Heres a couple to consider. Shimamo cazna Daiwa laguna Abu garcia cardinal All well under $100 and feel not to bad for what they are.
  11. Steve at let's go fishing on gulfview road. He was by far the cheapest by $40 down south
  12. My personal opinion (only handled them instore) They feel ok... I have heard that they dont rate sinker wise very well.... Ive got myself a Penn Allegence... Nice bit of kit and only set me back $130 for a Graphite surf rod it's pretty ballsy..... Havent caught a fish on it yeh but casted well and handle weight and bait no dramas!
  13. Spotters over Tonics for me.... i have a pair of tonics now and they are bad. I look after my sunnies and they are scratched to buggery. They dont clean well. Smear marks stay on there certainly not impressed. Im a landbased fisho and the glass polarized lenses are a winner for sure! Will be going back to spotters when someone has them on special....
  14. So after Talking to a mate saying there was Heaps of Lightning around I made the Swift decision to Boost down to Porties Jetty and try to get some Lightning shots. Knowing full well that I was going to be in for a long night of waiting, as well as knowing I had to work the next day I wasn't going to miss out on the opportunity. So after sitting there waiting for nearly 3 hours It finally came close enough to get a few photos. The waiting and the lack of sleep was well worth it just showing by the pictures!

  18. I made some homemade "Bread flies" made from both Styrofoam and sponge.... Ive noticed, especially when Kuerschie and I fish and we throw bread out for burley the carp go Straight for the Larger pieces of bread floating on the water, so i made my flies alot larger then conventional bread flies would be. So being bigger flies, I have been able to also cast them a fair distance with my spin gear! I haven't been able to fool one yet on em, but I haven't really put time and effort in trying!
