i use black magic and JINKAI i use the jinkai for all my larger landbased species (mullies off ardrossan kingfish etc) and i have never had a problem with it, specially tying knots i think it makes it really strong and my knots that i use are tied really easily with the JINKAIBrayden

Just Ordered My New Daiwa Seajigger
southie THE BANGA replied to fishnfreak's topic in Bait & Tackle
i was looking at that rod and a diawa reel to go with it but i couldnt justify the price of getting one.. specially for just chucking lures at sambos all day.....i jus bought an angler stealth and a shimano saros 3000 with braid for just under 400 and i love it it does the job and it didnt break my budget. I guess its personal preference though.... Just my opinion though -
i just bought a new shimano symetre 1500 reel for my brand new berkley dropshot plastics rod and i think its the best balanced combo that ive ever had i love it.... its spooled with fins 6lb braid and its perfect for what i want it for.....

Nah your not allowed to, it is illegal. from what i can remember a fair while ago a group of men got caught dragging nets along the upper reaches of the onk near old noarlunga at night, and they got hit hard with massive fines and conferscations.I think the onk is part of the aquatic reserve but dont hold it to me.Brayden

Hi allIm am wanting a challenge atm and trying new areas of fishing.... Since i dont have the dosh for a boat yet and restricted to land i am taking up fly fishing. I have done it many years ago but gave up after i had to much work and schooling goin on at the time and never had the time to fish.....Anywayz im heading down to the yorkes on boxing day to firstly target mullies at ardrossan, and then head over to the other side of the peninsulato have a cack at some of the kingfish that are hanging round.... so i guess what im asking is what sorta flies should i be using for mullies and kinges?

yeh ive done that before, down at the pat some guys were taking undersize bream and there was a bucketfull of them so on got on the phone and pretended next thing i hear was a big splash and they threw all the fish back in the water as soon as i mentioned the word fishieries and taking of illegall fish.I would of done that down port hughes but neither me or the misses had our phones on us....Brayden -
yeh i was disapointed to i spent 260 buxs for 2nights at the carvan park to get the spa cabin for the misses and to come out with no fish it was pretty disapointing. hopefully work well let me have time off work when the weathers better and come back for the snapps or just a nice feed of fish would be great...brayden

After checking in at the caravan park me and the misses decided to go for a drive down to moonta to get some of there famous Poloni form the butchers, with the clouds looking promising in not raining and very little wind we decided to head to Pt hughes to flick a few chromie spinners at some snook. We headed up to the jetty and there were only to other people on the jetty, since i last went up there we caught the snook at the very end of the jetty. As we got 3/4 of the way up the jetty there was one guy of ethnic origin a
