1. Those jig spinner forms are rediculously expensive in Aus, if your keen google Lurepartsonline.com , cheaper again to buy the forms and blades seperate and assemble yourself
2. T-curve T series 2-4kg would be more suited to breamin 2-5kg would be a bit heavy imo unless you run into a lot of mullies while breamin.

Grips?

I hope that it's a dedicated toothbrush you use Piranah Nothing worse than picking up the wrong toothbrush and starting to scrub only to find some old pillie bits getting loose in your mouth  :cNo problems there mate! I'm always sure to only use the missus toothbrush

Grips?

Not suprised, when you tell her your off to play with your tackle in the shower  :cheer: For cleaning cork grips I just use warm soapy water and a toothbrush to get in the gaps.
6. Their great for estury perch and redfin, miss the odd hit but the lack of snags make up for it.PS,They tend to remove some of the plastics action so for the reddies attach a jig clip and spinner bait blade to help entice them!
7. Fillet them up and roll in flour , egg and breadcrumb and shallow fry in butter Really? Can't think of too many southern creeks, where this fish was caught, that are actively stocked and on public land.Regardless - Yakmando has already made it obvious he will enjoy these fish responsibly They had to be stoc

9. Great news it's finally ready for more testing bring on the herpes! Testing methods are pretty stringent these days Tony.
10. Interesting, is there training/equipment provided for those that intend to take that option?Tagging a large cod has a fair bit to it, with sedation methods, handling, and bringing the fish out of sedation and knowing when it's able to be released sucessfully ect ect not to mention that the current SA fishing regs would have to be broken to do it properly ie, no removal of cod from the water.can of worms maybe
11. Just did some googling and im not sure that fish tagging fits the definition. You may require a 'scientific licence' under section 132C of the National Parks and Wildlife Act if you wish to undertake an activity or project for research, education or conservation purposes that is likely to result in one or more of the following:Harm to any protected fauna, or to an animal that is a threatened species or is part of an endangered population or an endangered ecological community. Picking of any protected native plant, or any plant that is a threatened species or is part of an endangered popu
12. In a club dam for sure but 70lb is only a bit above average for the murray in SA
13. 1m murray cod are a bit too common making the club not so elusive, 140cm/100lb murray cod would be more like it followed by 15lb+ callop 10lb+ cattie 8 lb+ silver 20lb+ trout cod 6 lb+ redfin 15lb+ brown trout 4 lb blackfishA metre murray cod from Arno bay must have been a highlight Willy :cheer: cheers
14. The end and southern side of the jetty has railings but theres none off the north side. Most sharkers tend to catch more about half way out (raised jetty platform), off the end is just sand bottom with little to no structure.March and april normally sees large mulloway caught off the jetty especially after a good blow to stir things up. Livies suspended under float accounts for most. you'll need westerly winds to balloon off the end or southerly's to fish off the north side but no railing apart from the raised platform half way out. Head south into canunda for the better beaches for mully and
15. I might have been a bit harsh It's all about using something you have confidence in that suits your budget ect. Personally I think fireline is every bit as strong as others on the market, just find it thick, a bit too waxy and holds way too much memory for my liking but thats just me (hack fisherman) Think it's one of the worlds top selling lines so i'm in the minority
16. Fireline is great to use for a first time braid/gelspun user, any other brand line you use afterwards will be a big step up. start with the worst and all the rest will be a dream to use
17. All it needs now is about 2-3 tonne of bubble wrap
18. Thanks Trihull fisher Iv'e ordered 20 something packs in the last few days so I better stop buying before funding runs out
19. Cheers Macman I tried mo first but their all out, they do have a hell of a lot of stock advertised that they don't have, their alternative to the all-terrain are on backorder atm.with the help of members I tracked enough down, so thanks again guys they work well on perch species with a few extra attachments
20. Thanks very much for the call and post Tony I'm just waiting on a shipment from another supplier, once they arrive I will know what other sizes I need and i'll try some bargaining with anglers choice Most retailers are aware their discontinued so their all selling at a premium price, they where around $5.50 a pack not too long ago :S cheers
21. Turns out their a discontinued item rare as rocking horse shit :S plenty of shops still have the larger heavy ones on owner hooks but the light g-lock gama hooks are very hard to find, ended up calling half the coastal tackle stores in the country and found some at spot on pt Lincoln :cheer: just got to sell the house to afford them now  They still have a pack or 2 left if anyones interested!cheers
22. Tastes better than blue's and cray IMO especially when fresh we export all our king crab and then import from Alaska :S
