I have a big problem i need a good camera that needs to take good pics. But what one? i do alot of fishing at night so it needs to be immaculate at taking night pics and jus the same for day. i think a photo says a thousand words thats why i need the best for taking my beloved fishing picys i am open to all suggestions and am willing to fork out up to a fair bit of cash for my memories. SOMEONE HELP ME!! haha i just have no clue what to look for in a good camera that takes good night pics haha cheers tp

i buy both and enjoy them both. i reckon wild coast has a better range of pictures and i enjoy the brag board alot but i also think sa angler is just as good. hahaha tp (undecided on which ones better.)

hey guys,i might be heading over to beachport with a mate over easter, just have a few questions about the jetty? does the end of the jetty have railings? as ill be sharking what is the bottom like there? and what winds do you need to sail a balloon of of the end? never been there before. ive heard many great things tho i know they get a few large schoolys, gillers and gummys off the bottom there so all aspects covered! we will be chasing mullies from nearby beaches also so i have no clue about the area but ill just give it a decent crack.. if anyone fishes up there regularly and can lend a he

i myself are a shimano man but have taking a liking to the bigger egg beaters in the daiwa range. the saltiga surf would be perfect for beach fishing. i myself will be getting one shortly.

thanks for all the response and the offers. 4tha not once did i intrude the guys space i respected that he was also tryin to fish he helped us out at first as well then our lines came into a single tangle. from ours being anchored 150m out and from his squid float that had drifted across. it was very simple to fix but he didn want to reel in his squid jag for 2 mins to fix the problem. in his eyes it was easier to wind in ours and kayak it out again. thanks tp

ok guys and girls where to begin.sorry that i havnt been following this post because i am computerless at the moment... hahai am not afraid to say that the news report was referring to me about the angler who pulled a knife. yes that was me and a mate down there but its not how the media would have it seem. me and a mate arrived at normanville around 6 oclock in the arvo an old guy was fishing the jetty that i had met a few nights ago while a bunch of my mates were sharking. any way we unpacked the yak and rods etc and loaded up the left side of the jetty no rods were in the water yet because

hahahaha agreed spartan haha its been very slow there last few years been sightings all around but no ones hooked up i know alot of the local fisherman that tried a fair bit last summer for nothing but thats sharkin..

i use it a bit as well. i dont have much problem with it at all i use it in 10lb and 6lb also if u have the coin give the suffix 832 a crack in the green i love that stuff hahaha cheers

hey boys just bought a rod for my shimano twinpower 5000fc i purchased a lucanus jig spin light pe 1-3. and it feels like a cracker combo havnt had the chance to use it as of yet. anyone else out there got the lucanus rod and can share a story about it. i cant wait to load her up she feels good i have the o/h lucanus medium fitted with a calcutta 400b love that combo as well. anyway just wondering if anyone has cracked some good fish with the same rod.. and how did it go? cheers tp

i also take the crab net for a landing net most of the time. its the times u dont take it u get the fish u need it for haha but thats another story. i always have to fill people in on this info because i fish there a fair bit and i always get people tellin me no thats just at the end of the jetty because there is a sign saying "no fishing or crab netting beyond this point" so maybe they need to put a sign up saying no crabbing on the wholke jetty to stop the confusion with new fisherman who are just after some crabs but dont know the rules yet. cheers ntp

hey mate i use a twinpower 5000 an a 9ft tcurve revoloution i love it i bang 60g lures easily with it i agree with soutie u dont always need to wind fast to get a hook up. any way my outfits probs suited for bigger salmon im thinking of getting a lighter out fit as well cheers tp
