Hi guys,I'm currently in the market for a new :woohoo: (relatively cheap $100-$150), light whiting combo. I only fish off the land for my whiting because I don't have a boat. Just wondering whether anyone has any suggestions about combos they've had a good experience with???
I find it helpful to pour a bit of freshwater on the reel of braid after the first cast of the day. It enables the line to leave the spool with less friction which results in even longer casts.
I regularly fish the Pat and have found the Squidgy Pro Range to have outperformed the Berkley Gulp baits by an absolute country mile.Nowadays I only ever take Squidgies when I fish there.
If you're interested in using lures in the Onk I would suggest using the ever so versatile Squidgie Bloodworm Wrigglers or the green Squidgie Flick Baits.
Hi guys,I'm interested at trying the Torrens for a few Carp on fly. I've heard many successful stories about this type of fishing. I'm just wondering what flies, leaders, lines etc. are appropriate.
For something different the Pat is normally pretty consistent. STs can be easily picked up around the lock using 65mm wasabi or bloodworm coloured squidgy wrigglers. ST's are great scrappers on light gear too!
