The road into the Cape and the Gap are still open at the moment. To get to the Cape you do have to go thru the farmers gate and he is ok about it if you SHUT the gate behind you and stay on the track. The Council is looking to close it because 4X4 and Motor Bikes are going into the dunes and causing damage. Motor Cycles are also roaring up and down the beach with no concideration for anyone else on the beach.Peter Leaney from Moonta has had a petition going and has received lots of signatures to keep it open. The council is working on the ramp today and also yesterday digging it out. We had a guy in this morning that said he still hit the sand bar last night. Hopefully today thay may clear it. You will still have to take a great deal of care when using the ramp as they always end up with lumps & bumps everywhere as they are only using a digger to clear it. Wallaroo boat ramp is always a far better option if you value your boat. There were a lot of people on the weekend that used Wallaroo and were staying at Port Hughes.

It depends on where you live statesquider. We have a line winding machine in our Wallaroo store and the boys there will do it for you. The cost will depend on what line you choose to put on it. There is 100% Aniseed Oil. When you buy this it stored in glass bottles as it will eat thru plastic. Word of warning - keep it away from your Soft Plastics and Hard Body lures as it will eat into them.Aniseed essence is available and is sold in plastic bottles as it is no where near as strong and can be stored and used with plastic. I am here... only just. Haven't been feeling all that well. But i am much better today than yesterday. Tyke maybe we will catch up later.
