  1. Shallow water. Northern suburbs. Few snapper encountered also
  2. Anyone heard the reports getting around? Big school getting around straightening hooks and generally causing havoc
  3. I've got a starlo 11' shorespin and a lucsnus jig, haven't had issues with either. Boyo can vouch for the 11 footer. The mullies encountered in the port and westies aren't that big, a 4000 is plenty unless you get a big girl
  4. I've got a 4000 baitrunner on it. Chucking lures for salmon, livies for mullies, lb snapper etc, good all rounder. Also handy for catching bait off the beaches
  5. Exactly the same as a Catana. I have the Catana, love it
  6. Tackleworld Salisbury. Dave, Dan and Kym are always helpful. Dave has given me so much advice which has resulted in fish! Also, as a gun owner, I use them for that too! R&A are very rude. If I'm down south, I'll go see Scotty at Anglers Choice. If I'm on Yorkes, Compleat at Wallaroo. If I'm in heaven (Eyre Peninsula), its spot on in Lincoln. Honestly, I can't speak highly enuff of Tackleworld Salisbury
  7. Call tackleworld Salisbury and ask for Dave, tell him I sent you and he should hook u up
  8. Head, fins and gut. Always better to be safe than sorry
  9. Berkley combat, camo edition. Strong, light and able to cast big baits. Starlo Stix 1102 shorespin Heavy is good too, but a little heavier, physically. Both handle big fish well
  10. On a day like this ale, head to aldinga
  11. Good man. Dave has the experience mate, can't speak highly enuff of him
  12. LOVE the saragosa UHF. Doesn't even have an anti reverse lever! Low gear ratio, heaps of torque, just love it. Youll see it soon enuff
  13. I've got a tcurve 763 bluewater, 15-24kg. Can chuck big baits, heavy lures, jig with it or send out a balloon. I've got this mated to a Saragosa 18000 running 80lb braid with a 150lb wind on. Great for pulling fish straight out of structure or battling a nice toothy. There's my two cents. Also, as it's 3 piece, can take it in the plane
  14. Spin fishers are good, but don't lay braid well. My favourite mono is platypus "lo-stretch" in orange. I'm not a fan of the sensor surf, but others love them! So I'm no good to u with that bit
  15. Water proof LEDs work well. I have 2 strips at the back of my boat
  16. Go buy the tide n gps mark book for 10.00 job done
  17. It's a grazing area for them. Mussel beds
  18. The pros are cleaning up the area Red
  19. I ate one. Wasn't too bad. Not much meat on them tho
  20. Gummies, or sevengills? I know there's a shipload of sevens around ATM, but havnt heard of any gummies. I could be wrong tho
