1. U Serious? A kite surfer can cause whales to leave there traditional breeding grounds!
2. I remember when I found my first ever school of salmon like that, all 40-46cm and far out! They went hard and smashed every lure that hit the surface in the blink of an eye.Well done mate, it is one of those things in fishing witch is pure FUN!
3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pTy5u9zsqn8How about This for Whiting Blasphemy!
4. Looks really good, also looks like it will be $$$$
5. I Think I will go into R&A's sometime soon and have a fiddle with the 560. I am thinking of spooling up with Platypus Lo Stretch line. Any experiences? Thanks for all the Help, Fished out
6. The 560l has Taken my preference.Reading online the Penn have almost non existent bad raps but the Okuma has enough to have me doubting it.What do you use your Live Liner 760 for JackBlack?
7. The mini shallow reef at port Nourlunga has a few monsters! I had a snorkel in the shallows one day and there were 3 big bream, 2 were 35cmish and the other 40+!
8. It's Pen to! New Comparison, Pen Live Liner 560 vs Okuma Epix.Something Sturdy and smooth would be Great. Thanks for all the help Lads.
9. Go somewhere with St's at the moment. They will keep you entertained until you can snag a bream.Straight through fluro is what a lot of east coast fishers use when fish are touchy, it will work.Scent, S-Factor is my Fav. The 2nd cast after application is THE MOST LIKELY to hook a fish.
10. @ Just Me: an almost exact copy for $18.00, from china well that is different.@Smokey Kebab: How Do you Find the Okuma Epix and Did you rip the heads of to many Fish with your Marado :laugh:I found an Okuma Epix from R&A's for $80 with free postage and a life time warranty. What size would be recommended for Snaps and Mulloway? Prefer 20 pound Mono as line but open to recommendations.
11. Far out, Can you Imagine the look on sombodys face if the caught that in an afc bream round!Absolute stomper! Would love to see pics of the 52cm model, It was only a matter of time until somebody asked
12. search for The Patagonian Toothfish On youtube, and IFish on Tv. I can never seem to catch adventure bound and Et is all ads. Writing this I just saw 30 seconds of fishing then straight to a commercial for Can Ams. I would love to find a show where there is a group of presenters that like stuff around a bit and take the micky. I remember lee on I fish, Two opinions are always better than 1.
13. If you go to the extreme pen rod site the biggest fish on a pen rod is a 21lb Carp.Only reason I would buy one is to be able to have a fishing rod at school, blending into the surroundings
14. Seeing as Lord Black Billy Hasn't been on the site for a couple of months I will ask for the General verdict.............Does any body use the tackle busters gear? I am looking at Bait runners and Swore to Myself I wouldn't look at Jarvis Walker a longtime ago but found myself looking At a Marado the Other Day.I am particularly interested in the 4000 Bait Runner. http://tacklebusters.com.au/fishing-reels/j40fr-baitrunner-reel Cheers, Fished Out
15. Depending where you are fishing...........6 pound for any dam, No matter how snaggy will knock over any trout or reddie in S.A.10 pound For Extreme Snags, By this I mean having to work your lure 2 inches under the surface to not hit a log every 2 winds.
16. I thought it was a Typo when I found it. Ever since I have posted this I have had uber-expensive lures popping at me left right and center! Mo Tackle has lures for $100+ and I just find that unbelievable. Also, I think American Bass are pretty Dumb fish. They can 50 pound on fish that are often the size of a big redfin! One extreme to the other
17. http://www.bassmaster.com/gear/400-plus-swimbait-haiThis is getting Beyond ridiculous
18. They sound like they would be good in curry, in herbs and spice and just maybe in stronger seafood pastas and soups.Skate wings, will be hard to get some die hard whiting fishos to believe that
19. The claws might cut the line to. They would be a tangle problem and hard to cast, they could hide pretty well too. They would be nice and natural though.
20. Your fish Might even be the same as mine Booma, Possibly two different common names?
21. Is it a Roman Nose Goby? I don't know why I thought of it but the moment I saw the pic That's what I thought it was.
22. So close Do you know roughly how deep it was? Around structure? I am trying to get a handle on the bream side of life
23. Would the temperature extremes be too much in a small body of water for the true Saltwater fish?Freshwater fish can live in tanks wherever they occur but I figure the salties have a bigger area of water to diffuse the heat/cold?Brackish/Estuary fish like bream, Mullet and possibly Trumpeter, St's should go ok. I wouldn't try slimies, I think they rely a little much on stability in temperature.
