  1. Yeah I reckon I did, was just knocking off some salmon and getting pissed off at people spearing there all the time!
  2. Count me out I was just flicking off the end of Nth Haven Breakwater this arvo.
  3. You don't find that your pot/bucket swings back to the rocks either side of where you are standing depending on which way the tide is going' date=' in or out?[/quote']Sometimes but I use the waves and tide and basically any water movement to disperse berley.
  4. If that thing was legal it would be a fish lollipop!
  5. I've always used a floating burley bucket PP? Never had any problems and found that the continual waves help with spreading the burley. Just my 2 cents worth.
  6. Personally I am not too much of a fan of a well done Yorke Angler with chips! But TBH you'll be be right, the chances are extremely unlikely even is a thunderstorm occurred.
  7. Hey guys,What speed do you go when trolling, I know what speed to use when spinning but I'm not sure about trolling.CH
  8. Should be me and my mate can catch our quotas all around the place this time of year, all on plastics.
  9. To find them throw around a small chrome
  10. Whats the go lads any spaces? *finger crossed*
  11. Who knows, but something must eat them!!!!!
  12. Not as far as i know, all i can suggest is move or catch all of them and use them as bait
  13. If there are puffers then you will find it very hard to get a bait past them. There might be your target species sitting among or below them, but the odds are that any bait chucked in will be engulfed by the prolific and annoying puffer!
  14. Hire a spit, and a lamb, and have some FRESH yiros!
  15. Yeah my point exactly, and a sub-option to indicate where you will use them e.g- Bottom of Yorkes from a Jetty or Nth Metro from the beach. Then your sample size will cover a range of different places and platforms making your experiment a fair test!
  16. If its possible maybe one of the mods could start a thread or a petition of some sorts?
  17. Probably the only team left in the comp!
  18. I've got a subscription to Modern Fishing, GREAT MAG!
  19. If money is not a real big issue I highly suggest the Eco Beach Resort, I have seen it on the website and on IFISH. Charters come with the package along with the meals. You can catch almost every reef fish possible plus big barra and jacks in the creeks. Worth IT!http://www.ecobeach.com.au/
  20. No pics but good nights fishing off the rocks last night before the dodge tonight,40 odd nice sized ST's off my rock spot. Around 10-20 released and we all took home a decent feed!CheersCH
  21. Something long and a bit whippy, 7ft would be best for shore but if from a boat a 6.6 would do the job. I have a Shimano Symetre 2500 on a Shimano Sahara 6'6" 3-5kg. This does the job and more (you might want to downgrade a bit) but it can tackle anything from a tommie to a small snapper! A really good rod!
  22. Just to add my 2 cents worth, Pauly is a great fisherman judging by the reports he has posted. YF bream are almost impossible to catch in SA metro waters, but not completely impossible just like there is still a minimal chance of catching a coral trout from the Largs Bay jetty. Nothing is impossible but extremely unlikely. Also black bream have been known to have clearish-yellowish fins so that might be an issue. and 60cm really? Photos please?
