    Release Weights

Release Weights - they are a requirement when targeting snapper in South Australia and in other jurisdictions but do you know why and how they are used? Daniel Waye from The Fishing Guru has teamed up with Graham Keegan from MRFAC to explain them in the youtube video below.

    Help with Blades

They are one of my favorite & most successful lures for deep water use in my boat when chasing bream & schoolies. they are very good snag detectors & i've had a few find new homes in the onka when fishing them from the bank & tend to stick to hards & softs in there these days. my most successful method of use was a good long cast but you need to just feather the last bit of the cast to make the lure lands with out tangling up i'll let the lure sink to the bottom & even let it sit there for a few second have had bream pick them up on the first cast. after a few se

  4. Hi all... Im thinking of buying the Shimano Big Baitrunner Long cast real C14+.... to use with my drone.. Why this reel.. I reacon a baitrunner is better than a standard spin reel for this type of set and forget fishing.. It can hold 500+ yards of .35 50lb braid... Has 20kg drag... 5.3:1 gear ratio.. fast retrieving. Is a bait runner for the long drops chasing BIG stuff. Fishing around 200-300meters from shore. On special... 20% off Shimano quality.. To be mated to my Samaki Xtreme Surf rod 120SXH-12" long, 20-40lb line, cast weight of 3-6oz.

    Help with Blades

I've just got a few to try out on the trout in the rivers next season Micky, never used them before either, I did get the lightest ones available for the rivers.. There's plenty of info on YouTube using blades & vibes on the bream.... cheers Adrian
