Ah yeah, there's been a bit of that going on down south too. I had heard that the christies plant has significantly reduced its outflow in recent years. a chunk goes to aldinga/mclaren vale for the vinyards, and the purple pipes have been rolling out down south for parks etc for a few years now. but they are also increasing their capacity by double (aging plant).I'm fairly sure the plant at Mt Barker supplies local growers with water too.I'm all for any form of wastewater reuse.although i think the desal plant is the biggest waste of money, i don't think it will have a significant impact on th

Here's a colour chart based on water clarity and feeding activity, notice pink is smack in the middle (good all rounder).I've heard the squid like the dark colours and black because they cast a good silhouette, so its more about seeing the outline of the jag more than the jag itself in some cases.I almost exclusively use the cheapie pink jags and a couple of yo zuris in orange/green, and pink/black.

alot easier and less time consuming to gut/clean before freezing.that way when it comes to cooking, all you have to do is defrost and cook. not defrost, gut/clean/fillet, then clean up from that, then cook, then clean up from that too.

looks like you figured it out, when it ends there's a button to save your score and it asks you to type in your username.its a bit of pot luck really because the appearance of fish is random, you might get 10 of the high score fish in a game or none.

Well I forfeit the right to win any prizes being a staff member, so you don't have to beat me to win (or God for that matter as last time I checked he/she wasn't a member).Thought I'd just set the bar ;)In the game there are different fish that are worth more points, and you can catch more than one at a time and will only hook them as the hook is going up, so try and catch the ones at the bottom and hook more fish on the way up.The trout looking ones are worth 2000 (they are also the fastest and hardest to catch)KG looking ones are worth 1200the wrasse looking ones are worth 800angel fish ones

nice job crispy, but I have to ask the more experienced dabbers out there, is something like this going to provide enough light?I only ask because the boats I have seen dabbing are usually lit up like christmas trees with huge overhead floodlights.I've only attempted dabbing a couple of times using big torches (the ones that use H4 headlights) with limited success.

Yeah I'm always dubious of media size estimates. They'll take the biggest one they hear or just make it up.Still, it was bloody big.
