  7. With sliding baits you need to be up on something fairly high for it to work.Doing this on a standard beach e.g. like glenelg beach won't work.
  8. I want to hit a spot about 25km out from outer harbor.Good luck this time of year, Winds W 25 to 35 km/h.
  9. Usually you can't go wrong with those rods.I purchased a couple for 2 son's in law and they liked them
  10. The only graded area is the ramp entering the beach which is levelled out daily,it may be levelled out more often depending on how busy it gets throughout the day.The guy who i go with drives a Nissan Xtrail not much different to a normal car.He carry’s a battery operated pump but has never needed to use it.Just taking his time we can get too and from the mouth without deflating the tyres
  11. You can fish much of that beach up to that big sand hill 1k B4,but if there is a high tide then you'll be driving along a narrow stretch of soft track too and from the ramp and can get stuck. If at any stage things aren't looking to good drive the vehicle hard up onto the sand hills that go along the beach as a extra high tide does come up to those sand hills.People go there on low tide but things can be a challenge on a high tide leaving.
  12. Today i was looking at my son's 4x4 bronco.Rims are 12" (30)cm wide.Huge wheels but heavy vehicle
  13. That mound of sand 1k B4 is a soft area to get past.
  14. Alan hawk's comment...The new one will be unveiled soon. Supposedly fully sealed, upgraded gearing, more bearings, more sizes and speeds. I've since learned a few other things about it but my sources aren't giving me permission to say.
  15. I did read ...Supposedly fully sealed. If they are then it makes a excellent surf reel

  20. All the bits and pieces have arrived, some from the states and some over the border .Only took 5 mins to assemble, have enough here to make 30-40 bucktails all at $25 spent which included only 5 x 1.5oz jig leads.
  21. With the tournaments they hold overseas $400 is nothing,we don't have anything that comes close to what they spendhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD3hyKXsgxAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9GZaf_sodY
