catch a tommy ruff first.. then scale and fillet it... use small slices of tommie as bait on long shank hooks. small hooks.. does me well down at coffins :Dwatch out for the green squirts

i love a good feed of razor fish... havnt had any for years!!!where is good to get them that is not illegal??

i used them to good effect fishing a reefy bottom recently not far from coffins off the rocks. catching trevally. letting them drop deep.. then a 50-100cm lift of hte rod then retreive and drop...Solid... sounds familiar... farm outside of Tumby... a lawrie by any chance???

softy put me on to it... as we where both googling for fishing sites. but he was on here and mentioned it to me. having to log in to see forum pages made me stick around.. so much helpful info on here and the people ive met so far have been fantastic!...apart from Ranger.... he kinda smells funny...

going on what was said today at teh kayak fishing trip. bream should be released anyways... takes about 9-10 yrs of growth to gate to legal size.. but yes.. it only takes a few idiots to stuff things up for everyone else!!!

and.. i ended up buying another reel... some weedless and hiden weight jig heads. and a short rod for mangrove creek fishing on the kayak..

never caught them on line befoe... but speared plenty in my day. they get pretty huge down near coffin bay.. and get the blue ones there too.

LOL yeha i got a nice lil abu garcia rod/reel as a cheap SP set up.. think ill swap my shimano across to it tho.. would of loved to have gotten a better reel.. but too many expences already this weekend!

you got some squidly tentickles... the long ones are great.. and even the shorter ones are usefull.. and snapper love squid ink.Squid ink is actually a fish atractant...
