There's always one, but thought your Patrol could this. Obviously it couldn't do everything Look forward to seeing all the photos - good luck, especially for a Cod
-
I could do with one of those machines, but need to catch the fish first
-
The pressure ... I don't need the pressure Good luck
-
Like you Mike .... everyday is a long weekend But I rarely go away anywhere anyway, so will just do some Salmon flicking locally.
-
Certainly a well used lure with some life still left in it I hope you have a spot on your trophy cabinet for when it retires
-
Great video and product for the Snapper. I have heard a lot about boaties needing and using release weights but I never knew how they worked - now I do
-
You'll be a busy man soon Southie ... oh, and remember to spray them all with Glen 20 when you receive them
-
Sorry to hear the back and hip isn't doing the best at the moment Adrian. Must be too much trout fishing in those rivers taking its toll But I would have hoped, as you would have, after around 3 weeks without any fishing in the rivers that the body may have recovered a little better. Hope the results tomorrow are all positive and also your Doctor can get back sooner than later.

Another good video Adrian. Nine trout from 11 hooks ups is a good catch rate and a 500g + weight was a nice bonus. Hope the hip is standing up ok since you did the video
-
Try your beard next I got one the Aldi ones to try for $10 and its ok but nothing to rave about. Have been using a stone of late but just can't get it right yet lol.

Yes hopefully you'll never be put in a situation of needing to be rescued - but if it occurs, they will see you a mile away Good price too. Think the Salmon (& Flatties) will like those - would think they would last long if the Salmon are around though - a few chomps on them and half gone. But as long as they get you some PB's ... who cares
-
I purchased 2 and they were ok - used for YFW, but yet to Christen them though.. I did notice one of them had the ball bearing lose in the main body rather than the rear end catchment - so maybe check that. Overall was happy with the movement and still had an ok cast distance. I took the trebles off and replaced with a single at the rear only.

Good video Adrian .... a hard slog on the day but a trip to remember

They look great Southie

mulloway bruising on beach mulloway -- any theories??
doobie replied to Plectropomus's topic in General Fishing
Interesting pick-up. I've never noticed that on photos before. Someone will surely have an answer. -
That's an understatement But does the job
-
Does look good and certainly would improve your storage look lol I know you like using materials you already have, but the angle cut can be difficult without proper tools. As you probably know, Bunnings have those and are cheap.
-
Yep, looks the part Southie.

Top stuff Hunter. A bit of 'relief' from your normal fishing

The importance of a locking nut on a line spooler

Yep, always good to have 2 nuts -
Think I'll use as backing as suggested on a larger reel. Thanks all for your suggestions
-
Yeh could do, although I'd prefer all one length on my smaller reels. Might use as backing on larger reels though. Thanks Rybak None of them yet All around 15-20lb, but good thought Hunter.

Watching fishing vids on your phone in bed

Good job though and yep I've have the same problem with things I have made - my floors are always uneven -
I'll keep that in mind lol, yes, but am ok with doing them - although I could stand in a bath of water to practice as if I was wading
-
yep could use them as backing dmck - didn't actually think of that as I only had mono in my head for backing Did just buy a Daiwa Crossfire 2500 yesterday cheaply, so might just do it on that. Otherwise I'll send them to you Thanks for your thoughts.
