  1. Absolutely fantastic reports luringlures. Great info and detail plus photos. Would like to see the full reports on S&H to give our site the full 'exclusive' but the link to it is still great. Look forward to seeing your future reports on your trips. Being your obviously from the best part of town, down South, we may bump in to each other one day Again, well done mate.
  2. Good idea Lofty. I haven't caught any of those since I was a young kid, and that was from Rymill Park in the city ! But being landbased, I'll just do the usual of YFW, Silver Whiting, Gar & Tommies and hopefully a special effort towards Snook which I have never caught as yet.
  3. They had for $5 about 5 weeks ago and went for 2 weeks. They have Berkly line discounted then too (not sure if they are reduced this time though).
  4. I've never targeted snook, but the above has a lot of advice, so may give them a go this year. Good luck Sammy and let us how you go.
  5. I like the digital line counter, but the novelty of it would wear off before too long. The fight stick would be an interesting one.
  6. There could have been a good chance for a Mullie, unfortunately I didn't catch any salmon near the kilo range lol
  7. Cheers everyone for your comments. I try to give a good report but hope it doesn't get too long winded at time You're right brenton, and they where there today as well from what I've seen - but can't get down there for a few days. Not that it matters, I have enough fillets to last a while now Good memory ludaqryz and they certainly did the seabass a good workout. Something I was just a little worried about to be honest, but she handle to 'competition' with ease
  8. Yesterday (Monday), the weather forecast was for moderate North Easterly winds along the coast, and a reasonably chance of rain. So I decided to head for Waitpinga and Parsons to lure for Salmon, a bit of warm clothing and wet gear. Even though the area hadn’t produced for me in a while, neither had metro southern beaches, apart for a few ST’s – so I had nothing to lose. So the car was already parked - from the day befores outing for a couple of flicks around Maslins (for a donut) – and I headed off at 8.45am with intentions to have the line wet before 10am. A cloudy day both h
  9. Looks like a very good review and you're right ludaqryz, 'who does that' !!
  10. Well done RedReeler and good report and photos. That is a great Salmon and at least you beat your dad on this occasion - but as you mention with him being one of those fisherman, he will out do you before too long
  11. Hope you get on to some nice Salmon plankton and look forward to a good report (but that good hahaha)
  12. Everyday seems like National 'Gone Fishing' Day for me, but that day it wont be - wife's birthday
  13. What !!!!.........someone found him and is reselling him ? Knew I should have put a "if found" message Mr Reliable looks like a Kamashark lure that's lost its top coat of paint. Great little lures, I love mine and the price is right, unfortunately they're getting hard to source. Last time I was at FW I bought most of what they had left. The pink/orange one is my favourite. I reckon that is the one. I'll need to see if FW have any (driving past tomorrow), if not, I'll pay you double what you paid for them - less used discount, less old stock discount, less S&H member

  15. My Monday adventure starts off from Sunday nights weather forecast of 22C and moderate Northerly winds – more wind than I like !! However, on waking this morning and looking out the window there was not a breeze of air – weather forecasters get it wrong again, but good for me. So during the night, I am kept awake assessing the plan for the fishing day. I was contemplating going to Waits/Parsons but also maybe hitting up Southport. In the end I couldn’t be bothered going all the way to Waits/Parsons – sort of ‘over the area’ at the moment. So Southport it is, (not knowin
  16. Great posts, video and photos Alex. And agree with Saltyflyer, best ever water flop and even better in slow motion
  17. Cheers Panga and I hope everyone can make the effort to make S&H no. 1. A few reports lately with attached photos are all a worthy read for all us. Brilliant Report ... loved it PS - S & H is already no. 1 You are right Chief, and how we were thinking it wasn't already the No.1 fishing site entirely inexcusable Here's to keeping S&H No.1
  18. Well whenever you do, we'll point you in the right direction. Poppers are so good with the Salmon. I came across a big school in the shallows at Maslins not long back, but hadn't packed the poppers would have been amazing.
  19. The 'weapon' was proudly sold to me by Southie whilst I was at the Fishing Wholesalers new opening weekend - he knows his stuff !! And honestly I am very happy with the purchase. Glad you like it mate. Always happy to help anyone out... if i sold people crap and not suited for them then we wouldn't have customers come through.
