agree with jayman and get a quality 1 from pt hughes complete angler pr from mark at the PH ramp they are $60 but will never break or tear open also have a built in float just incase ..cheapies break usauly at the brass swivel and always use a inner as it scales them quicker and if it (cheap ones) gets a hole in it u dont lose ya catch $60 sounds alot for a scale bag but if u lose i catch at $80 a kilo u work it out

not a big snapper fisho but 30lb is more than enough whiting different story basicaly all i fish for 10lb is min u should use imo as u need reflexs like a cat when striking so lighter could result too breakage also with hooks ALWAYS use mono filament line not pre tied as fish can see too theres a new brand of pre tied hooks around now called SAVAGE they use mono filament line

most shops have them pre-set its been awhile but as scissors said about 20-30m behind the boat change ur troll speed from 4-8knotts..swing ur arms back and forth too work the lure..some times u wont even know theres 1 on there but when the paravain pops up theres either a fish or weed on it

Brankin i was on the water that day it was a few years ago ay?? i was sitting out on the deeper silt grounds area and my decky said too me what the hell is that..it was a wall of water coming at us prob only about 2m high but it put the creeps up me as didnt know what was gonna follow only time its ever happend and definatly wasnt wash or wake

well done millzy crabs have backed off at stk abit but still running well straight out from semmy jetty ,,launched at stk last week couple of hrs for 2 crabs then went sth too semmy ended up with 40 odd for the day

if u have a tucker box it becomes alot cheaper i use everything nothing gets wasted..i mainly fish for table fish no need for snapper as i use dynamic lifter in my garden lol (jokes) only bait i buy is gents as i get my own cockles whiting and garfish frames become crab bait all shit fish also become crab bait crab shells guts ect become whiting berly squid heads also crab bait and candles and flaps whiting bait every year i go bloodworming and get a years suppy of them for KGs and YFW i have a small ice machine and also freeze up 2lt water bottles ice for esky so

she looks well worn mate i have 1 like NEW spooled with 30lb mono brought it about 30 odd years ago only been used a few times..killer reels advertised it ages ago for offers over $200 these reels will only go up in price there are woodgrain inserted 1s that fetch over $2500 no joke would prob part with mine for $200 nothing less

i use them only on the spare rod tho no2s only for me i feed my KGs cocktails

sprinkle a bit of brown surar on a few Banga mate ive had mine for awhile pizzas are great also Mates got a heap of Tuna bellys fins ect for me to smoke they are the best thing ive ever done and ive done a few different things lol caught 40 tommys the other week butterfied them and done like ur wings salt water brown sugar but sprinkled them with lemmon pepper sesoning delish mate me and my nephew ate them all after a few froffys those wings ur doing will be pretty tasty too
