    @tony yer ive done them both ways at 1st this method seems finicy but once u done a few u can realy fly through them have converted a few people to this method

    great post m8 i was shown by yogi bear and dkerr the same way 2 years ago got it down too under 40 seconds a fish now(after about 500 fish lol)not bad for someone who never target gar coz couldnt fillet them and have shown fishos that have done the filleting coarse at pt adelaide and they all do it this way now gd stuff taking the time to show others

    had a strange combo the other day SM something like hot lower winds with cooler higher wing which caused a unsauly weather pattern and is apparently why we got 33mm in 2 hours climate change who knows what it will be like in 10 years maybe sa tornatoes

    if freezing crabs cooked or raw take the body shell off and clean guts out pull the dead mans fingers off or they will change the flavour of the crab (worse)

    nice size yabby but have seen them alot bigger there are some monsters around when i was a lad we caught 2 over a foot long at morgan

    i no a guy who pulled 2 out of there last week 18lb and 28lb i think it was and ive seen the pics there would be 50lbs in there but they dont get that big being stupid

    12-15 months they recon but im a bit sceptical too that i went 1st november was lots and lots of little ones we ended up getting our bag but took all day and knowhere near as many big boys as last year wont b long and i think our free cockeling will be over

    i always run mine in the scaling bag which semmt tenderises them then the missus cuts into rings and freezes them in zip lock bags can cook for 6 hrs and still tender

    think its called getting old mate not a care in the world when ur younger no commitments ect as for bait get down goolwa for ur cockels and i reuse everything garfish frames become crab bait...crabs shells smash them up become berly for kgs and snaps squid heads kg and snapper bait list goes on i only buy gents which are dear as hell too
