  1. Just bought the 2 door Hark smoker. Can't use it til Xmas as it's my pressie from the kids! Thanks Mark and the guys at fishingwholesalers.
  2. Good work mate. I use Photomatix for my HDR work and good old lightroom for work on my raw files. The good thing about photomatix is that you can still get a decent HDR from a single image rather than multiples, although the more files the better!
  3. Nice work you're doing mate. I love the photo subject and how you have used the streamand tree in the foreground. My only feedback would be to tone down on the HDR as in this photo it is starting to have that "grunge" look about it and the sky is detracting from the other elemnts. Great composition though. Post up the original so we can compare the two! Regards Ian
  4. YEp, big fan of Adventure Bound. So this new show on commercial tv will be great, better quality video and not that crap channel 44 lower than standard def!
  5. Might be a bit of fun down the OnkiPlonki with a wet fly Crispy. Target some ST's and yellowfin whiting.
  6. Isn't the Dump inside the no go zone for the desalination plant?
  7. Aah the old hoop snake. The bane of many US troops on exercise here in Oz. Seen plenty rolling down hills with their tails in mouth and an evil gleam in their cold reptillian eye!
  8. If you're not doing anything wrong then no worries. No need to be abusive to the boys and girls in blue!
  9. Yep. No more free Nearmap. Google Earth from now on. Pity it doesn't update like nearmap!
  10. When I was a kid there was always old-timers down on Port Noarlunga beach baggin' the beach worms. 40 years ago now but I'm sure the next generation of worms would still be there!
  11. Wasn't a direct hit, but residual current from house being hit and the kid standing on the lawn out front. Made his hair stand on end but!
  12. YEP! Great idea. I'm in.
  13. Might go down to Goolwa on Thursday for a cockle session. Any idea how many kilos 300 cockles of legal size would be???If I can talk the Missus into going, 600 cockles would be far more economical!
  14. A bit of a nasty accident in someones backyard whilst playing with their boat. Hopefully not anyone from here.http://www.news.com.au/national/man-hurt-after-boat-catches-fire-at-lonsdale/story-fndo4dzn-1226489399585?from=public_rss
  15. Is that near "that" spot we were talking about the other day at FMC?
  16. Hi there guys.I have acquired a brand new Alvy bait pump for fathers day. Never used one before, so would like to know if they are useful on the beaches down south (Sellicks to Porties). What could I expect to "pump" from the sand? Or do I have to go mud crawling in the Onk around the tidal regions near SouthPort? All info greatly accepted. I need to catch some fish this year to justify the boat, and to brag about how much more I'm catching than Crispy!!
  17. Time to get the camera out again!! Nice exposure shots!
  18. I put a couple in a small zip-loc bag. Re-usable!
  19. Is that the best photo you got of Miss Carli the Ambo? She's a great chick too!
  20. Now that I've got the boat, I'll be targeting pretty much anything that swims!! Went out today for a couple of hours and managed some decent sand whiting and a Sweep off of Moana. Plenty of Tommies around the burley trail too. Did some trolling along the Pt Noarlunga reef but nothing happening there ATM.So when can we expect the KG's to start down this way (South Metro)?
  21. I've got the 5100. Great entry level / intermediate camera. Takes great photos and has plenty of settings to play with once you get used to it.That's a good price for a kit lens and camera on that site - less that $700!
  22. pm your email address and it's yours mate. No need for payment. I had it put on a canvas and it looks awesome. Here's the link. http://www.thecanvasprinter.com.au/pages/Sizes-%26-Prices.html
