  1. Are you allowed to drive on to the brennan warf still down the end? Caught a 1m long snapper there about 10yrs ago.
  2. I always fish sideways with the rod vitally horizontal to the beach. Singles help a lot too, I use the decoy sergeant hooks off the top of my head.
  3. No idea why they are being discontinued, but at the prices they are selling the Catalina I couldn't resist and snapped one up last week.
  4. I have also kept the long life ones for 6months easily, never by the ones in bran any more, not worth it.
  5. I just had a look at a few lures I bought a month ago because I thought they looked pretty good, both are mucho's BLH 12g and 35g. They look sexy hey , will be chucking a single on the 35g though. Do they come in any size around 60g?
  6. I've found the baby version of this Goby many times in salmon trout in the port. Interesting to hear they are a distinct port river species.

  10. I always use a running rig with either one or two hooks, have been getting some good sized fish on soft plastics lately too.

    In the fridge they last for months but if it is fairly warm outside they will turn into flies very quickly.
  12. You don't have to cast far at all for bream and whiting, a good 7ft 1-3kg or 2-4kg max is perfect for the beach.
