that is a joke, they should defently be made an example of. on another note at least if i had caught the snapper i did hear in vic i would of had my first legal. should only be a matter of time b4 they change that, 28cm is a absolute joke

alot ov people say the head closest to the spikes but ive always done it the other way, ill cut the tail off and put it on like that. I think youll find that if they do grab the head and you go to set the spikes in youll just pull it out of its mouth at worst and then when they go for the second grab theyll just grab it where ever. still cant beat just having a teaser and gettin it close to the jetty and throwing you squid jig in.

my mates got a samaki skitch that is perfect for it. i got a zing witch is a great rod but its 9ft to big for the boat. tackle world stock them, allenby gardens

they have a fruit and veg market on the way to torrens island, banks there have blood and tube worms. the worming there is nowhere near what it used to be but if you work for them youll get a few sessions worth. waders are a must coz ull be knee deep in the worst smellin mud you can imagin. use a spade and when you see one get on him quick coz they do the bolt. smelly dirty work but never left there without them.

hey mate, from redbanks to 5km to pt neil along the beach ull be in with a chance. i went to the pub last time i went out for whiting off arno and a bloke caught a estimated 30 - 40lb mullie off one of the beaches there few days before. also heard off some big snapper landed off redbanks. goodluck

all land based unless me or a mate can get a tinnie sorted out. Snapper off rocks, mullies off a surf beach or in the port and flathead off beach or rocks. Most of all i want to hit the water with the new speargun.

What makes you think having a boat will catch you more fish ??how many land based kgw you get metro ?and yer if i try all season i might get a size LB pinky.or i could give squid a crack at brighton jetty with 20 other people blocking off the end.i guess what im sayin is when theres not 20 people all trying to catch 1 fish u mite hav a better chance or a better time fishing -

At least when u were younger the fishing was good, me and my mates starting in the 20th centry struggle to have a good session. always get told by people what the fishing used to be like. dont have the funds for a boat to get out there. just got to hope that with all the measures taken to keep fish around the fishing will be as good as it used to be. -

i got out there abit heading towards the end of snap season this year. plenty of undersize snaps. i got a few little ones then i hooked a bigger fish but hooks pulled when it was right in frnt was heartbroken. i did try earlier this week but nothing, thinkin it might still be early for them. really keen to get out there when they fire up.

just wondering if there is any beaches providing decent size mullet. and what bait works well if u dnt hav mullet mix ?

once i was casting nice size harbodys at woolbay coz there were a school of salmon getting around. as i brang it to the jetty this squid was bookin for it, grabbed it but didnt hookup. got the lure out the water and as soon as my father put his squid jag in it smashed it

on harbour side not far from the shore seen people getting squid and snorkling there ive seen them aswell, not in gr8 numbers but there round there

Layin in bed dyin to go outer harbour but gt a wedding 2day. If any1 does go n get any dnt show pics ull break my heart

went to outer harbour, weather was to wild but managed to get 9 salmon trout. might give west lakes a go for mullies tonight. wish us luck
