well im lost! again :ohmy: nuthing new 4 me , but i have used a drill to take line off my reel but never to put it onn .... whats the idea behind that ?? i just use a screwdriver to put a soaking wet spool of line onn.

hey all , ive used similar method to shane's but use IN BETWEENS, the wife buys it and i use it , works good for getting out the amount u want to cook up without defrosting the whole lot ! givem a try

hey FSW 140 is a good price , but id wanna see its condition too, look for corrosion , drag wear, handle not wobbly ect.does it have line on it? and if so how much and how old is it , has it been looked after ? these are the things id be lookin at.cheers

nice repair job m8 and great photos too ...i remember the days where few mates were fishin with alveys and surf rods of jettys ....YEA LOUD ratchets aye????listend to the vid afew times, bout back pleasant memorys.good strong reels they are ,but also slow ratio from memory,they suit mainly bait fishing id say, but they also cast a mile once u get used to the long rod.good post rocknev can see why you like them with all them rocks everywhere.

ive used aniseed oil on my bait over the years with success,so much so my mates started to call it cheatin juice! and that the smell made them thirsty also, my uncle rekons just use ouzo instead ,some on your bait and hands and down ya gob.

Hi guys an gals,i have a penn longbeach 68 which i bought new 20 od years ago...havnt used it much the last 10 years cause it has a wonkey handle and it doesnt feel nice reeling in line. Also think my 13 y\o son might wanna learn to use an overhead soon.I have the urge to flick it out again as these things used to cast a mile but really want the handle repaired or replaced.I also believe the handle is the same as a 4/0 standard.if anyone can help me out with ideas about repairing it (which i dont think is possible)or anyone with a spare handle or

I was a member of another site that i had found through google,i told a mate and he told me to check out this one too....the other one has locked me out 4 reasons not known to me! mostly all cry babies on the other site(not my kind of friendly fishers) i supose so i used the same name here just to pissem off.....i noticed lots of u there and here some ex mebers ect....lolso here i am

ants do a good job but sea lice do it better,as the meat stays moist and soft in the water ...try it now in winter as there are millions at night .it also is quite quick this way,just tie them to a large sinker and drop to the bottom of any jetty with lice !

think id put this doggy eatin stuff in the TO HARD BASKET!!! skining a doggy would break balls too much, (is it worth it) but thats just me!
