I remembered a recent event that had slipped my mind because i didn't win the fight I was fishing two rods off both corners at the end of Brighton Jetty, one with a jig that i was working and one with a small jag and fresh Tommy.Old Italian Fred, regular on the jetty calls out that my rod is going off. The drag is screaming on the rod with the Tommy jag and i start to fight whatever is on the end. This outfit has a 4000 shimano and 15lb line. Fought hard for about 5min, line goes slack, bring up the jag, tommy gone and the jags spikes were all bent the other way. We reckoned it was a small br

The 3rd snaps are what i use for squid jigs and lures.

Well picked up my new Daiwa yesterday. 6kg of drag. 300mt of PE2.What is PE2 converted to lb/kg? and what breaking strain would you recommend for this combo?Cheers,Squid Flaps.

Cheers, got plenty of clear mono in all breaking strains so i'll just go ahead with that.

So you just using a clear mono now knackers?

Very hit and miss so you never know if it's the scent or not. I find tuna oil stains the jigs so i avoid using it. I have left my jigs in my pilchard/cockle burley before.
