  1. Got out this morning to test it. Working perfectly [emoji108] had a gut feeling it wouldn't read right but thankfully I was wrong. As for the unit it does all I need except it doesn't measure distance travelled... Unless I'm not looking at the right thing. Just gotta get my head around what it's showing on the screen VS my location on the water.

    Buying live worms?

Tried those Catchall Crawlers this morning. They were biggish/thickish worms, look like a tiger worm and stayed on hook well enough. Advertised to work well in freshwater and saltwater - I didn't find them that good unfortunately. After retrieving the line after say 5 minutes in the saltwater, they looked dead. I have tried tiger worms in the past in the saltwater (as a test to see how long they would last) and these C/Crawlers reminded me of them. Maybe they may work better in freshwater - would I buy again ....no.

  4. mullet are very good eating fish if processed properly, I scale an fillet my mullet within 1 or 2 hrs, when at the beach I keep my fish in a canvas bag attached to my rod holder with a small amount of salt water in the bag it work like a water bag this stops the fish from bruising I also kill the fish by bending back the head , when filleting if you like a milder flavour skin the fillets also if you cryavac the fillets skinning them makes a big difference for long term keeping. my pet hate is to see fishos chucking live fish into a empty bucket to thrash about an die or through the on the
