  1. They are looking great dude.... I might have to start chasing the YFW.
  2. I had a look at these today.. great blanks and will work well on the YFW no doubt how they are painted!
  3. Today was a total success.. the A-team ran like clock work as usual.. cheers to the good day with plenty of laughs, even if they where at the expense of Doobie. [emoji23] If anyone would like to help out on the strike hook bbq at an event let us know, it's more fun then work. [emoji106] KS and Doobie working hard... Or hardly working? 4. Nice video.. they are some good fun! I might have to get back down there for a session myself, been years.
  5. I've been using clips for years.... Die hards reckon they affect hook up rates, but i'm not sold on it. I use 00 Decoy clips for my smaller fishing Bream/Trout etc and the Fastach clips for when using bigger lures for chasing Callop/Cod/Mullies.

    black snapper

First i've ever heard of "black snapper" Sure it wasn't a monster bream? Love to hear some more about it if anyone knows?
  7. They look great. Must take a while to do each one? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. I don't know much about it. There is a couple of clubs you can try here in South Australia. SAFFA - http://www.saflyfishers.asn.au/SAFFA_Welcome.html SAFWAA - http://www.safwaa.org/
  9. I won't be watching the grand final. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. I understand that different occasions call for different styles of plastics. I was more going off what i feel comfortable using... Never really liked flick baits or what ever they call them, just feels like i'm throwing out a bit of plastic and towing it back in, Sure you can work them to get more/the action you want but just never done it for me. Same went for Paddles but i did enjoy using the Slim Swimz today.... Still not a Grubz tho.
  11. Tried some Zman 2.5" Slim Swimz today... Avid 2.5" Grubz user as mentioned but thought i'd give them a go. Never been a fan of paddle tails but loving the action on these, didn't catch anything on either today it was a hard slog But they will be going in the 2 plastic rotation from now on!
  12. I'm not brand biased when it comes to rod and reels, what ever feels good in the hand really. Price pays a big part of it, I got a Savage Gear rod at a real good price Something i would have never brought but after using it, it seems alright.
  13. Not to sure as I have a lot of confidence in the zman grubs. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  14. I don't buy much these days.. But Zman are my go to plastics because they last for ages. Mainly the 2.5" grubz.
  15. I'll have to remember that spot if i ever venture there again.
  16. I've heard around the new moon... Yet to catch one so can't really comment.
  17. Fantastic eating... One of my favorite fish!
  18. Looks a bit heavy for what i want.. Might just get a weedless hook and split shot or something.
  19. What jigheads are you using for the weedless on the grubs? Was only just talking about this before with a bloke at work for chasing the Bream in the mangroves.
  20. I'm guessing the point of that video is those reels are waterproof?
  21. Yeah.. and i saw a video over the weekend of part of a pontoon broken off ... Oh and the dredge against the rock..
