  5. I wonder if this means there will actually be increased fisheries presence? something most of us have been calling for forever. I hope they walk the jetties every day and night! they better patrol west lakes too, there have been sharks caught in there you know ;)Love it how the 'metropolitan area' suddenly extends to Lady Bay too (just south of Normanville) lol
  6. After measuring a few you will get the feel of what is legal and what is not. You'll get to the point where you know if they are definitely legal, and if there's any doubt you chuck it back and keep digging
  7. DIY solution, stick a butterknife in a drill.make sure you wear some safety glasses

  15. your link was dodgy, i fixed it up for ya ;)you had an extra http:// in there.
  16. spots get hammered so nippers would probably be deep on low tide. look for dark sand patches with a hole/mound in the middle, yes in the water.you can definitely get them at seacliff, this is a well known spot, go there and look for people with pumps ;)also because they get hammered, people do not like to freely give away spots. I've only ever got them at the o'sullies boat ramp, but they're not there anymore.
  17. I'd give them more than a minute....search on google images for "PETA demonstrations"
  18. she better hope she never gets bitten by a snake because taking antivenom would be "cruelty to animals" in her book... horses get injected with diluted venom and then once their immune system starts fighting it off they have their antibody rich blood taken out in order to produce life saving antivenom.
  19. That aritcle is almost a year old btw.
  20. couple of nice backyard setups in this old threadhttp://www.strikehook.com/forum/35-bait-a-tackle/135655-making-berley-blocks
  21. GIMP for the win ;)It is almost a Photoshop clone and its FREE!
  22. you can definitely fish and crab at the same time.burley up for gar and drop down some nets, crack a beer and enjoy the sunshine B)having said that, i highly doubt you will use 6 nets and fish at the same time, it will get too unruly.usually two nets, one out each side to the front and lines out the back.
  23. in relation to the "if other gear being used" issue. again that is per person.my understanding is that each person can use 3 nets and 2 rods.
