one pro i was with,did just that kingsley using 4 x 150 watts from memory on an overhead frame running off a little genset.the set up was one man,steer and work from the bow with the slush box a bit behind the driver.fantastic little rig,fish coming in from nowhere

loading up for a trip to port hughsco2 bottle the only thing left to put in was about to take the regulator off knocked the bottle over and the safety valve on the regulator mashed the end of my toe next to the big toe,the bottle was not your typical d size as you now get it was about 4" in diameter.needless to say that the blood on the floor of the boat for the first two days was not from fish -

i was of the impression that the 3000 stradic was very similar if not the same in size of the 2000,2500.the 3000fi i have,i had the the spare spool filled with 2kg fins,bought a 702 catana the other month and flicks a 3.9 gram popper around 20m,well thats the best i can manage anyway.is a further cast more achievable with a smaller reel?
