I dont think that what there getting at snappahunta, I work in a tackle store and have seen the best and the worst. You half right in the sence that just because something is cheap doesnt mean its useless but the general I go by is yoou get what you pay for, dont expect it to you last you a life time because you'll be sadly dissapointed.Personally I havent heard of em so couldnt tell ya if there good or badAll I can say is you work to your budget and be happy with it, it doesnt matter what any1 else thinks of it if your happy fishing with it who cares.

What type of line for snapper
Dubs The Tackle Man replied to Midcoast angler's topic in Bait & Tackle
Hey mate Dont mind chasing a few reds my self, I would match my line to your reel and rod depending on age of the reel most peen over heads will give you somewhere around 5kg so 50lb will be a bit of a waste of time and matching your line to your rods rating would be a good idea to.If your rod is 10kgs then fish up to 10kg line, they used to say fish your drag at a 3rd of its breaking strain.I now fish with my whiting gear and landing fish over 7kgs, started on the 6lb but its a bit tough so jumped 2 8lb on a 2500 exceller plus and a custom built stick.Like a few others have said fish to what -
top stuff mate top fish too

The saltist are a great reel, and at a fair price too would take that over the finor any day of the week.30kgs of drag is a serious amount not many people could stand up and hold onto a rod at that pressure, so you gota look at it seriously. In saying that you dont what to buy a reel and fish it to its max drag and capabilties anyway as you wouldnt go and buy a car and drive it as fast as it can go.Happy hunting bds
