  1. wazzaI've previously had luck cockling at Middleton (haven't tried this year, I must add). There's a carpark on Surfers Parade across from Bondi Place. Park your Adventra there and it's only a short walk to the beach. I found I had to dig a little deeper than I usually do at Goolwa, but there were plenty there and of good size.Cheersaf

  4. Many, many years ago, the family used to use nothing else but Zebco closed face reels for chasing barra up in FNQ. As Ranger said, they are easy to cast accurately and relatively inexpensive and the Zebcos were pretty well bulletproof. I'm not sure if they're still distributed in Australia, but it looks like you can buy them online at Cabela's.Here's a link to the Zebco site in the States:http://www.zebco.com/Check out the "Interactive 2013 New Products Guide" to see the range they have available over there. If you want to read some interesting stuff about the company and how it got its name,c
  5. Big ask, Swampfisher...Reckon you'll get a lot of responses saying you'll need (as a minimum) 2-3 good (flexible) rigs.I honestly don't think you'll do it with one, given your scenario. It's a bit like asking for a motor vehicle which is light and zippy in city traffic, handles well in tight curves, lopes along as tourer, pulls a caravan and gets down and dirty like a balls-out 4WD.Good luck...
  6. Good idea, Dan CI would be on board for that.Perhaps we could tie it in with Clean Up Australia Day:http://www.cleanup.org.au/au/Cheersaf
