i just rang up and they said bring it back and we will have a look. its has a big eye at the bottom and a total of 6 eyes all up. so it sounds like a spinning rod. hopefully they will swap it over for me.

i've caught bream and a bream and also a bream,bream,bream about 2 months ago i caught a bream and a,what was it again,oh yer i remember a bream! thats what i love about west lakes,ya just dont know what ya gonna catch next!!

I have 3 Live fibres,and I love 'em all 2 are "off the rack".......an 8' o/h rated 8/10kg,and a 7' o/h LBG 15/24kg.The third is a 5'6" stroker 24/37kg that I had built at South Oz Rods a number of years back.That's a stump puller,and has done a lot of work on heavyweights,and is still as nice as the day it was built.There's obviously a lot of great rods around from other makers,but they are bloody good rods,especially for the $$$$

if the rod has more than 5 or 6 relativly small diameter eyes similar in size from top too bottom its for a overhead reel... if it has 6 or less eyes with a larger eye at the bottom tapering to smaller at the top its for spinning reels...and if your still not sure just take it back cheers snake

I will pay the sum of $200 too the person who catches the biggest mulloway by length on a lure starting today and ending last day of jan.2011.Video or photo showing fish placed against measuring devise including rod,reel and lure used also section of advertiser showing date caught needs to be submitted.Money recieved can either be kept by winner or donated too waterboys kids with cancer charity(correct me if i'm wrong regarding charity name waterboy)its up to you what u do with the money and will be kept private,if kept i will donate extra $100 too charity anyway so dont feel pressured too donate if you dont want to. Times are tough for alot of people to pay their bills nowadays anyway!!! all i ask is people be honest regarding their method of capture.Being strike and hook members i know this wont be a concern for me!! good luck cheers snake

my personnal view on a fishing licence is divided on 1pro and 1con.First the pro;having to pay for a licence too fish each year would discourage those who go fishing a few times a year and think they can catch and keep as many undersize fish possible and get away with it due to the small chance of getting caught by only a handfull of fisheries officers employed to enforce size and bag limit rules.Money gained from a licence scheme can help pay for more officers to catch these criminals and no more excuses regarding the limits as its printed on the back of every licence issued(fines for not carrying licence when fishing would deter free loaders!)..... con;trusting the government to use funds recieved from licence scheme in a responsible way to protect our fisheries and rights to fish well into the future...this is were it comes unstuck for me,murray river and emergency services levy are a perfect example of "well heres the cash,now show me what ya using it on,both still have the same problems today as they did before the levies were introduced!!"... cheers snake
