  1. Howdy Squid, yep it works my mrs, who see's lures and artificial baits as useless loves it. Also got the in-laws to try it and they swear by it now when ever they go fishing they don't buy fresh bait anymore .Forgot to add, once you make up the mix what you don't use can be stored in the fridge and the in-laws told me after it sits for awhile it seems to get more potent .
  2. Watching the guys on You Fish TV catch Gummies in Western Port they said they normally use Mono but for this episode the tide was running a bit faster so they swapped to Braid for less resistance in the fast running water.
  3. Pulled this of of FB (facebook) this morning. Jeremy Wade caught this beast in Africa  That is one mean looking fish The story...http://e-fishingnews.com/amazing/1085?ref=nf
  4. Once the weather warms up KF try West Lakes or the 'Onk' if your down south. As the temp rises the water temp will too and they'll be more active. Try early morning as the sun rises or as it sets, but most of all be patient keep trying different techniques and locations and it will come together Good Luck
  5. Howdy Tony, I have heard of this happening before. I went into a tackle store to get some and found out that a few had been returned for this very reason They were out of stock anyway but I think they still might be worth it, but that depends on how much they cost each and how often they break .

  9. I too haven't had much success with them, same as the other guys. But one thing is you need more action when jigging them to get them to vibate. A normal metal blade you can lift the rod tip lightly and it vibes nice and strong with these vibes you need more of a lift with the rod to get them moving which means you would need a rod with a stiffer tip as the body of the vibe is a lot thicker that a metal .Personally they are not worth it  , and that has been posted on other forums also, stick with the metal blades you'll have more success than with the MF40.

  11. Ranger wrote: Ranger has pretty well summed it up .I, like Skudded, buy the sandwich bags and put them in there with about 10 - 15ml of the juice from a tub to stop them drying out, but even the sandwich bags aren't 100% juice proof I still get a tiny bit leak out but no were near as much as the Berkley bags
  12. Ranger Wrote: Well said Ranger. I have brought my first tinny and in the process of converting it into a little bream boat, not so I can give Ranger the flick and start a new team but so if Ranger is busy I can still get out in my tinny and find fish and get some practice ready for comp day so we then have a plan. Look into getting your own tinny Brent so then you don't have to ask for a team mate with a boat, you can do the reverse. You can get away with a simple tinny with an esky for a live well, all these other things like an electric on the front and sounders are a luxury really, you don'
