  13. Rocknev how are u mate :)the glue they use on end eyelets is a hotmelt gluenormally a very strong bond (Maybe not enough applied). Normally used as it is much easier to replace the tip if insert is broken (just heat up and pull off)not bad binding either for first attemt

  20. hey thunda chucka,i have a Cardinal C802 which i'am very impressed with ;)very smooth reel with 9 HPCR bearings (with bearings on main shaft)one thing is it is slightly heavier than some of the Daiwa spinning reels :(but overall very nice reel and gutsy at that.
  21. g'day Troppo,Another rod worth thinking about would be a 12ft Daiwa Heartland surf (graphite)very light rod especially if chucking lures all day ;)choices are 6-12lb,10-20lb,15-30lbjust an idea
