    Gday all, reading the Sunday Mail fishing report it refers to the North Haven Basin. Where exactly is he referring to? The Marina? The area between the breakwalls? the entrance to the Marina?Thanks Damo

    Have been using the first without the snap lock. I guess just a barrel swivel tying my braid to leader. then just a rapala knot for my lures. I have only started using lures as have been a bait fisho only for 40yrs. So im curious. Does this mean that people are using snap locks to attach lures to leaders?

    Have to agree with Shimano Symetre 2500. I have bought 3 in the last 12 months. the last one i bought last month at bcf for $119 at that price it was too good to refuse. Have set the last one up just for SP and HB lures. would expect new bcf catalogue out next week and they often have great combo deals where you basically get a rod for free. Just waiting for a Raider/symetre combo to come up.

    Power pro. Go to your tackle store like Tinker said and get them to do it . reasoning is that they can do the backing and there is no wastage.
