  2. FSU 4120 is a great salmon rod in my opinion Never had a Wilson one,or in spin form.........always in o/head for an ABU 7000.......running 15lb mono.A blank pattern that has "stood the test of time"........you could do a lot worse

I have a 92 litre "Tropical"......an orange one.........approx 1000mm x 500 x 500.......not been away with it yet,but used it NYE for all the drinks at home........bagged ice lasted until Jan 5,and that's with kids and hung-over adults in and out all that time ........got it at Christies camping,reckon less than $200.The best esky I've ever had though,probably too big for your application,was an old bar fridge......given up the ghost..........had a fridgey mate take the motor / compressor / gas out of it.......took the shelves from the door,replaced with a marine ply sheet (varnished / sealed)

Live Fibre rods are constructed from carbon fibre,fibre-glass "strands" and resin.......light and strongMT8144 is "old school" 8 sheets of fibre-glass sheet,formed over a mandrel ( looks a bit like a steel 8 ball cue )8144 is a real stump-puller,very reliable and will handle "most abuse".........very heavy after a long session,and a bit like a broomstick in action compared to an equivalent length / rated Live Fibre.........nice rods.I have 3 MT8144 rods,and love'em..........one with a SpinFisher 9500SS,one a 651 Alvey and one running an ABU 10,000.....all spooled with 30lb mono..........all "o

I saw them in a store in Phucket earlier this year......I just laughed at it, and the proprietor got quite offended :ohmy: Bought some crap from him just to "smooth things over" as I was just in there looking anyway........spent about $30 AU which was a "weeks sales" for him Got 2 spools of PowerPro 30lb braid,300m, for $20 AU......still in the cupboard!...........the other 10 bux worth of crap,I just gave to 2 kid's looking in the shop window and dreaming..........hooks,floats,line etc......they thought all their Christmas's had come at once .......was great to see their smiles though,tru
