  5. hey squid lips i got a mate who is a cray fisherman who taught me how to cook them.keep them in salt water till ya get back to ramp in the shade, empty water when you get back then fill the bucket up with "fresh water" at the boat wash down, this should drown them by the time you get home. next boil some salted water, make sure the crabs are dead (we have a knitting needle we shove into the brain just to be sure ) this stops the claws etc falling off, then put them into the salted boiling water upside down, whilst cooking prepare an ice slurry salt water slurry is best once cooked keep upside

  8. dont worry about havin sore arms :pinch: after walking the magnanamously long jetty your legs will be the thing giving ya grief if ya get to the end of the jetty fish off the left hand side towards the weed patch there is a sandy hole down there that holds good sized kg's and on a clear day ya should be able to spot the hole fairly easily it is a slight cast though!!we have also caught some stonking big mullet on the run out tide closer to the start of the jetty but be sure to listen for the "splash of the sinker" if fishing at night cos you might find yourself fishing for "sand" whiting

  13. good onya Poppa how generous, whom ever goes 300 cockles for an hr of sloshing round in the seas is definetly well worth it. i'd take up one of the seats but super G wants to belt me up already leta lone what those waves will do to me. is this what you were refering to by cereal killers There was a man found dead in his home in Goolwa this morning. He was facedown in his bathtub which was filled with milk, corn flakes, and sugar. Thepreliminary assessment by police suggests that he was murdered by a cerealkiller.

  18. yeah understand that mate & i wasnt there i did state however... sure if T.P was allowed to shift his rod it could have been easily sorted but he did shift his gear out of the way to set there baits first.meaning i know its a pain in the arse for you to have to pull in all your gear but the old fella did the right thing in the first place by reeling in his line so as you could take your yak out and set the baits to start with.I'm sure if you woulda shifted or being given the chance to shift your rod before he started goin troppo it all coulda been untangled & avoided but some peopl
  19. uhf what you have written here is a load of bull the bloke wasn't ignorant he was fishn there first who gives a toss how far out his bait was or how much room they need to fish for sharks if i'm fishn a section of a jetty and someone wants to plonk em selves next to me and expect me to shift cos it doesnt suite them, and it ends up in a tangle there line would be gettn cut before mine let me tell ya.sure if T.P was allowed to shift his rod it could have been easily sorted but he did shift his gear out of the way to set there baits first you gotta stop sucking up to people and think rational
  20. and if they are swimming near dusk then there chances of being eaten are greatly increased.are you sure???were'd ya pull that insightful piece of information from Brett will have to make sure i keep to takin the kidz for morning swims not in the arvo cheers 4THA
