When I was out on the river in my Yak, It was the first time when I stop Paddling I didn't dift backwards. Between the Currant and slite wind blowing the other way, I could fish in the one spot. Not that it did any good. Cheers

  6. Waterboy, When does any of the money raised go where it should go. By the time the Politions,Admin. take there slize of the top, and then next little group take there cut and so on, so on untill very little is left to do anything. So no I don't hold much faith in any money going to where it could do the most good.Too many cheifs and not enough indans. all the cheifs have smoke to many peace pipes and now can't get off there asses long enough to get anything done. If someone could get them out of there arm-chairs long enough, maybe one day they might agree on what should be done. The

I went out sat.wk.ago, I to didn't let the rain stop me either which is more than I say 4 my son-in-law and couple off so-called mates , who call them selfs fisher men. 12. I thought I would just let people know why the Mannum fishing comp has been stopped. First reason is lack of water has exposed too many snags and the Commity thinks it's too dangerous because of the ones you can't see. The water being so low makes it hard for the bigger boats to be retreaved. It's easy to lauch any boats but as you guys that use your boats in the sea at low tide, trying to get them out is another story all together on some of the old ramps, some you just can't get them out at all until the tide comes in. Well the river is at low tide at the moment. They said that when the riv
  13. I no i am going to cop shit this but here gos . Is this fishing web site or a footy wed site.????????
  14. I could not bleave what I was seeing I had to put may glasses on and had to watch it twice. I wish our carp in the Murray River would do the same it would make get them out a lot easier. Without the carp our Cod would recover a lot faster. Cheers WS

  16. G'Day Ranger, I was still get Pm and emails about the booklet and not just new boaties . I didn't mention the Datum for reason. I think we both know what that one is. Some fishos are just try to find somewhere new to try, Because most people don't want to shair there hot GPS spot, witch I don't 4 1 min. exspet them to, like you mentioned the booklet is just some where new to start from and from there they will have to find there own hot spots.Sorry if I have trot on any toe But that was not my intention :cheer: Watersnake
  17. I use Vanilla Ess. instead off Anaseed and it works well. I use Asaseed one day and Vanilla Ess. the next , I did this for about 10 days and got more hits on the Vanilla. This was in the Murray but Not the Torrens, that should not make a differance. If there not bitting on the vanilla and bread I then switch to the corn. The Cream corn sounds good idea, I will try that next time I using corn. :cheer:

  19. For those people that are freezing there berley a bit of Plain jelateen(sorry about spelling) mix (no flovour or colouring) will help it hold together longer, and release it slower. I also use one lt. Milk cartons with white screw caps to freeze my in. I to put any thing and every thing I can think off and get my hands on into the mix. :cheer:
  20. G'Day Guys, anyone in the Barossa Valley area or anyone think going up that way, Spot On Fishing and Camping shop has about 8 or so "GPS Mark in South Aust." :woohoo: "Over 450 Marks" Booklets. Ask Ian and he will point you in the right spot. For those that do know "spot on" is on the road to Angaston at the Nuriootpa end . If Ian has run out, Barossa Mitre 10, in Nuriootpa has some as well :cheer:

  24. I cant beleave in the lact of responce on this subject . I am Lucky to have a boat but I have 15yr old son who does not like boats at all and always complains to me about the lack of good spot that he can get too that is not fence off. He a good kid who's trying to stay out off trouble and would like to fish inplaces like we did as kids and not to brake any trespassing laws in doing so. There are somany warfs that are closed to fishing its not funny. I CANT SEE THE HARM IN LETTING PEOPLE FISH FROM THEM . If they have to maybe pay Pay a couple of dollars like they do on ramps. BUT let the P
