Gotta admit the numbers in Cape Jaffa have gone down since last year. Had to cover LOTS of ground underwater to find some decent ledges holding at maximum 1 cray.

Guys HELP PLEASE,went today and saw a ripper of a boat. It was directly across from the cafe area, it was an ally hull, huge boat, 225 yammmy on the back, sealed cabin with all amenities such as sink and stove inside the cabin. Huge fishing area and you could actually get in the boat without permission. Kinda looked a bit like a bar crusher but wasn't one. Please help its really killing me. What make was it?? retail was 129,900.

Take anything that resembles a flickbait...green, white and blue are my favs from Nth Hvn -
HA! We call them rodney's, get a heap of them off Althorpes. 10/10 do not want to eat. And they can get baratrauma in shallow water, once saw one on the surface with an inflated swim bladder then a gull came through and popped him! Nature...

Limit of 3 hooks (or lures) per line, or up to 5 gang hooks joined eye to shank I was lead to believe. Isn't that an "illegal" rig?
-
Just for clarification,do we start a new thread or do we use the comment section here for the report?

THE QUICK TRIP REPORT THREAD... (post away)

Went for a flick down OH, tried the decks, around the red beacon halfway out and could only manage a few ST's. Don't know where the fish went but there was a prolific amount of weed making it only fishable around tide change. Was really hoping for a flattie, any better sports around Nth Metro for flatties this time of year and am I wasting time flicking flick baits around? -
700cm=7mI call that f :c ing huge!

Take it to a taxidermist...If you know a Canadian they will probably have the local taxidermist on speed dial...No stereotyping at all!

Kato fluro yellow 8lb, off the rocks, works well, highly recommended!

You'll never know if you don't wet a line. Me and KayakManSam's best sessions have come from fishing a dodge/ish tide. If the fish are hungry then it's more than likely that they will bite. Wouldn't worry about dodge tides, as long as there is some sort of movement then fish WILL jump in your boat!
