  1. typical banga copying good colour combos :D as i said on FB This looks SEXUAL NEV
  2. Carp, slimeys, snook work well for me.... as barnett said once you cook the crabs keep the shells they make killer burley and not just for snapps eitha
  3. banga jimbo, i almost bought an 8ft fiberglass boat with oars today just so i could get out there and give it ago myself :D i just wanna b like u hahha nah it would b fair cool if he did try and get the time to come out and do a segment on it... i almost was going 2 suggest to Mark that we write a letter to PW in regards to the stompa and see if he would come down for the day as i reckon the money that got raised would be through the roof...
  4. Welcome btw... gar will eat alot of things, gents, cockles, squid, fish flesh.... they especially love gar flesh... as for rigs it all depends on how finiky and hungry they are.. if they are hungry a normal pencil/burley float will do the job with a longish trace a split shot and size8-10 long shank hook... If they are finiky i prefer use a quill float with a split shot as it is alot lighter and easy for them to pull it down..As for the snapps i wouldnt know i dont have boat and dont get out enough in boats to say :D Gd luck...
  5. hahhaha... and then it can produce another member into the banga clan :D that would be pretty cool... a docco on the onk and the bream/mullies.. ive got my video camera and would like to do some fishing doccos myself..

  7. That 0.843kg fish was caught by a bloke called Rex Donnithorn at Brown's Beach in the 70s. It was during a Western Districts club comp. Someone at the weigh in pointed out that it was a Tommy Rough and not a salmon.nah that aint the one... there was one that got caught off victor way... only from a few years ago...

  9. at anglers choice theres a pic of a 42cm (i think) Austrlian Herring (might aswell use there propper name) it looks a fair thumper of a fish.. i know alot of my Oz Herring from Elliston were pushing the 30cm plus mark...
  10. tommies and gar are the usual gents... as for the other bottom dwelling species cockles squid white bait pillies etc.... i use burley for the tommies and gar it seems to help em stay in the one spot and keep them interested in feeding...
  11. Hey bud to set you started on fishing around there all u really need is an 7-8ft General purpose combo that will cover alot of the fishinbg you will do around there.. as for rigs i usually use a float rig for tommys gar etc.. a panonoster ig for my whiting and bottom dwelling fish and then u have ur simple squid jags etc etc... You can buy these rigs already made up for a few dollars and all u need to do is connect them to a swivel.. You can catch tommies gar squid whiting rays sharks and all that jaz.. however i guess ur looking at just wanting to catch fish!!! well i hope this helps and if
