I agree that top one looks nuts! I'd buy one and just to look at and not use. [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I've hit the Port a couple of times in the last 2 weeks and small ST's schools are everywhere and hitting the plastics hard... I've only had one i needed to operate on to get my plastic back tho. Maybe you are just been unlucky.

Wouldn't the burly just fall out?
-
What ever it's called..

Lure > Decoy 00 clip is what i use then blood knot to tie the clip to my fluro. Traditional swivels are WAY to bulky for smaller lures. People say clips are even rubbish and use a loop knot, Yes loop knot will probably give you a little bit more movement but i'm happy to sacrifice that for being lazy.

Cracker report. Sure looks like a fun place to fish.
-
Seen a few guys on ABS rating it.. But could just be to plug the product.

Went down to the mouth last weekend, the dredge was working right in front of the beach there.. Sorta wrecked our fishing plans. It may have moved in the last week tho.

Wouldn't want to cop one of them to the head! Did your cars get damaged?

Just come across this on FB.. Nothing new to me but might have some tips in there for others.

I used to do pretty well at Somerton, been a few years since i've fished it but can't see why it would be any different now. If you can get away with fishing near people sometimes that works well as the YFW hang about feeding on what ever there feet dig up while walking about in the water.
-
They are looking great dude.... I might have to start chasing the YFW.

That looks like fun......... -
I had a look at these today.. great blanks and will work well on the YFW no doubt how they are painted!

Today was a total success.. the A-team ran like clock work as usual.. cheers to the good day with plenty of laughs, even if they where at the expense of Doobie. [emoji23] If anyone would like to help out on the strike hook bbq at an event let us know, it's more fun then work. [emoji106] KS and Doobie working hard... Or hardly working? If Sikaflex doesn't work nothing will. -
Nice video.. they are some good fun! I might have to get back down there for a session myself, been years.

I've been using clips for years.... Die hards reckon they affect hook up rates, but i'm not sold on it. I use 00 Decoy clips for my smaller fishing Bream/Trout etc and the Fastach clips for when using bigger lures for chasing Callop/Cod/Mullies.

First i've ever heard of "black snapper" Sure it wasn't a monster bream? Love to hear some more about it if anyone knows?

They look great. Must take a while to do each one? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

What Soft Plastics/ Hardbody lures do you use/purchase?
Softy replied to southie THE BANGA's topic in General Fishing
I understand that different occasions call for different styles of plastics. I was more going off what i feel comfortable using... Never really liked flick baits or what ever they call them, just feels like i'm throwing out a bit of plastic and towing it back in, Sure you can work them to get more/the action you want but just never done it for me. Same went for Paddles but i did enjoy using the Slim Swimz today.... Still not a Grubz tho.
