  1. i also am a fan of Creamed corn for burley. and super sweet corn for bait or white bread. am planning to carp a local dam soon.. so will have to experiment with burleys if i plan to beat Tony B...

  4. nice work mate i landed two this past week off the rocks myself.. my first for that area! so i know the feeling!! i plan to take the yak to this spot too.. i think peteren fishes there in his yak regularly
  5. i run a penn 8' rod for that middle of the range stuff..been prety good so far no dramas. as i said.. i have 3 combos 2 jarvis walkers 2 dif line classes and actions and a 1 shimano set up. your moe than welcome to head down the beach one day and have a few casts and see what you like.
  6. well that aint exactly a surf rod mate... for surf fishing you want a mininum 10' rod. i have 3 x 12' w/ spin combos and an alvey on a 13'.what you are looking at is just a heavier action general purpose set up..

    crab fisherman, pelicans, asians and some european guy. all benefited from our carp the other night.

  10. A friend of mine does this for a hobby...birthday cakes etc.. she sculpts figurines for the top of cakes... examples are..also does noveltie items such as these worn at teh christmas pageantanyone be keen on something like this??
  11. so, where are some more good weekend away camping areas. close to the water basically.. walking distance from camp to fishing area = a bonus.. as softy and i do enjoy a beer ;)im from west coast sa.. softy is victorian.. and neither of us know too much about the local area.. but we do enjoy a trip away and love to get out there when we can.

Karma point your way Liam, well said.the Pious attitude of many vedgoes and vegans just sh1ts me to tears at times. they claim beef industry contributes to global warming etc.. but do they actually accept the decaying plant matter on the floors of rain forests contributes far more???i mean dont get me wrong... i LOVE vegetarian food....IT GOES GREAT WITH A STEAK!!!!!!

  23. hey mate, me and Softy are in richmond, we fish the torrens regular. and plan to hit some salt water spots after our snapper trip this weekend.might be able to bring ya along since you live pretty much next door.
