  23. Tuna are fairly clean fighters the problem with going to light is no lifting powerI have used a 2000 diawa reel with a heavy bream rod to get 4 tuna 12kg :woohoo:think was around 6 pd line & leeder didn't drop a fishHad to drive the boat to lift each fish ave 30 mins eachDid a write up a few years ago with pics but can't find it Any good snapper size lure outfit will work a treatOther rod was a diawa 3500 dh custum & that was perfect All good until a 100kg monster destroys you :pinch:
  24. I have a great photo of a 12kg blue fin I caught a few years back 2008-9? writeup is on here somewhere :dry:Using a yo zuri mag minnow designed for snook, salmon trout n tommies took both trebles of put a single inline hookGot our boat limit of 4 tuna before mate got a hookup was using bream gear so was taking 30-45 mins to land each fishI HATE TREBLES I now do this to all my lures Only on rear ring facing up so no weed just try each lure before n after in the bath or pool or down fishingDon't upsize the single it will efect the action
