DAmned good question... I have a number of old batteries too...... My mate reckons it will be easier to sell the batteries for scrap then buy the lead!! but theres no fun in that!! -

THe Coriolis effect works on reels too!!! Actually, I have always held my rod/reel in left hand and wound with my right. winding with my left hand is really awkward.

Need to release a scavenger that will feed on the dead carp. .......... piranha and/or caiman...??

I wonder what effect it will have on aquarium fish... many are carp type species. If the herpes gets in to the rivers, it gets in to the reservoirs, into the water supplies then in to the aquariums..... Still, its worth it in mho. Now, something similar for cane toads please.... ! oh.. and feral cats....

I like my baitcasters for flicking small lures and tommy/gar floats. I think its the 1-hand operation that I like.I use mine on very light rods.And I ALWAYS wind right handed... regardless of reel, rod butt tucked under left arm.......
