I was out the other week, between everyone on the jetty there were about 6 Jags in relatively close quarters. I had a fresh fish on a jag as well. I caught 1 squid, a guy with a blue jag with a small red light in it caught 5. I went and brought one afterwards lol. The other jags around his didnt get touched either, was his first time using the Jag and it really paid off.

Sooooo I stuffed up, I should have said nice photos HAYLES!!!! However I stand by my canon comment thanks to Rickster for pointing out my mistake!

Look up Scuba Diving sites, they dive all the wrecks and often have the GPS marks of them.

Bloody impressive fish for the little guy, pretty impressive he was motivated enough to concetrate on it for 45 minutes as well!!

Im going to add to this a bit, cause I suck at YFW fishing lol.Im fishing 1.5hrs before till 2hrs after low tide down at seacliff. Im using the smallest sinker I can buy and size 8 or 6 hooks with live tube worms. Now I go out fishing, catch 1 whiting EVERY time..but only the bloody one lol. Last 4 trips Ive pulled in all of 1 fish and two dozen shitties!! I figure Im doing something wrong, or Im there when the fish dont want to bite

Ive always brought my ice 2-3 days in advance and thrown it in my freezer to avoid this problem. I do agree though they should be made to hire a freezer for the day to store it, your paying for a product they are making a good profit so should provide the product you pay for.

Thats the problem with the Ban Boyington, unless you look for the information its really not available. The occasional fisherman wouldnt even know about it, I only learnt about the ban when I joined this site (luckily I had never caught a snapper anyway) Boat Ramps should have signs posted during the ban period to let people who may be ignorant of the law aware of them.

Ive got some polarise Bolle safety glasses, they were free so I nabbed a few pairs..down to my last 2 now ;( Think my old boss might hand some more my way lol??

I put the gulp bags in Glad (or elcheapo brand) plastic bags, its stopped the last few packets from drying out on me! I also generally carry them in my Bucket, away from the hooks, knife, or random curved edges that also seem to be able to destroy the bags lol.

If the fences have a hole in them, I call it a gate!Your right though the ports getting more and more annoying, I dont know what the fishings like but if you go to the end of Grand Trunkway theres a big park, some very average toilets and a big bank or boardwalk to fish from, you often see people launching boats or kayak tours from here. Ive seen the Dolphines around here plenty as well as stingrays under the boardwalk.

Ale most places in the Port Ive caught ST...its always good to look for patches of Seagulls, I also like going below the new bridge or from the rocks near the new boat marina of george robertson drive.I never really use bait for them always throw around a couple of Hardbodies or flick baits and usually strike it lucky eventually.With the south westerlies you can just find a spot your casting with the wind so your not fighting to get lures out far enough.
