  3. TK the difference between an overhead rod & that set up for a spinning reel is the position of the backbone or spine of the rod. EVERY rod has at least one spine, some have many but ONE is ALWAYS dominant over the others. This spine is, well should be, at the top of the rod when it is fully loaded. In the case of it being built to accommodate an over head reel. The guides will be placed on top of this spine & depending on the size of the intended reel will be of a smaller diameter to that of a spinning reel set up.   4. Ok, I've watched Adventure bound twice this week. Why you may ask? well I missed how they rigged up that longtom / gar so that it would swim away from the direction of pull. but even after seeing it again I missed the details. :S Can anyone enlighten me as to how it was done? Is it simply pined through the anus?

  7. Agree with Brian, it is a good pick up. I'd leave it as a tiller however. The ride will be better & your back will thank you for it.They are a good inshore hull. Had its bigger sister the skimmer for many years.I'd be casting an eye over the trailer however, it looks to be too long so some work might be needed there as well as a bit of a clean up to get some of that rust under control.
