Something exactly like this , with the UV protection, as we all know, sun is our worst enemy out there on the blue...... :woohoo: Full sleeve shirts like this, would be great, and also promote the "sun safe" .... Perhaps even get the "Cancer Council on board, could make it cheaper, and a % perhaps of sales goes to them, all this needs to be taken into consideration, as in my opinion, could keep costs down .... :woohoo: My 5c .....................................
  10. When steaming, do you use salt water?I have been told to cook your crabs in the water you caught them in.... by a wise old man

  12. from previous pickling experiences, only have used freshmy last effort was 10kg of occy to 3kg of meat pickled, lots of wastage ( in total weight)after boiling for 4 mins, then skinning it..... then cutting into chunks....very enjoyablehaving said that, most searches have said that using frozen occy, will give you tender meat..like the below linksOccy 1Occy 2

  20. Towed my boat from Adelaide to Pt Augusta chasing the infamous Kingies,You need to stick to the channel markers at least to the power station, there are some nasty sand bars either side of the channel. The "Shacks" are a good place to start, once past the Power Station look over to your right (heading away from Pt Augusta) and motor in towards them, with your sounder on, you will find some nice weed beds with big sandy patches , I would try there ....Hope this helps.....
  21. Top footage !!! great TUNA's Nothing like it is there.......I miss seeing bird action like that, and tuna smashing the surface(spoilt too much on Sth Coast NSW) damn damn
  22. Used to run a couple of 2 ring kids pools to keep our livies kicking at the base of the cliffs in and around Jervis Bay ( NSW Sth Coast) , we used to keep slimies in one and yakkas in the other, and the pools only had one aerator in each, and a top up of fresh salt water every 2-4 hours keep em alive for the session which was anywhere form 8 - 12 hours. One thing to have on hand is a small dab net to get them out, otherwise you will chase them for hours in the pool, stressing your baits and decreasing the life span.. !!!!
  23. juvenile a. carpet / b. leopard shark.....a b.
  24. Poops, nothing wrong with Schneider Line..... used it for years both here and on Sth Coast NSW, pity I cant find their old style multi colour ... grr only green or blue..Steer clear of the cheap monofilament !! Platypus / Schneider / Ande & Stren are all premium lines, can't go wrong with those choices...Hope that helps
