Squidgies have poor quality control. The Bloodworm colour in particular is one that changes from batch to batch. They have not deliberately changed the colour from the original. One batch got to a stage where they were basically see-through. Check this out The pale ones were hard and rubbish from all reports, I never purchased any. In my opinion the new ones they have released they have over compensated with too much glitter and too dark of a colour but I am sure they still sell well.

Fluro colours for lure work where you need to see the line to work out when you are on the bottom. Darker colours if it doesn't really matter. Be careful buying Powerpro online, lots of fakes out there.

Z mans will be okay. Make sure they are in a worm proof box and keep them out of the sun or they will melt. Personally I just keep them in their packs. I am not keen on ruining any plastics, especially at $9 a pack. Squidgies will last for ages, I have had some for years and they are fine.
