Not me. Solid mountain bike ride tomorrow will clear out the week's troubles. Muddy and slippery trails to keep things honest too.

Tides a bit dodgey but better Sunday too.

Lucky bugger I'm hanging to hit some of the new trails at Fox Creek

Might take the boys for a quick fang around the bottom of Cobblers tomorrow arvo if I can get the laundry Reno finished

Where'd you go today bet it was fun

    Love muddy trails

New trails at Fox? Only hit there once a couple months ago, when one of our lads crashed and dislocated his clavicle. Would be good to get back.

Didn't realise half the lads were riding the Craigburn Enduro so no ride. Contemplated a solo Cleland-Eagle loop...decided to join my roadie crew Sunday instead...the Mtb is waaay more fun & liberating vs the roadie.

Finished things of with a few bunnies last night.

At this price i figure i've $80 sitting in the fridge!

Give me a buzz and I will fill you in on the new trails so as not to put mtb stuff on a fishing forum but the new trails are sweet

  3. Great informative post from the trout guru

It's interesting as I've only ever chased trout once

Had a great first day on a warm morning in clear water with shade over the little creek

When I now think back and look at the pics I took of the day it was exactly like you have described all the trout I caught or had hits from where from the shady edges except one that came from a deep pool

Makes me want to get back to the spot and give it another go

    Thanks

  4. Yep I use both

Was using uni to uni knot because it was easy and I can do it while wading the flats

I know use a fg knot and use a tool called a knot assist 2.0 I find it extremely easy to now tie the fg where it was fidley and annoying trying to tie it in wind on the flats before

  5. I use a 1-3 kg stick with a 1000 stradic and it has caught salmon to 50cm and coorong schoolies no problem. I use this setup chasing bream, wading the flats, coorong and locally chasing kgw from the boat and love it in all situations
