    Hi Del,
Pretty sure Cray's are protected in Sa.
Without giving to much away I know of 2 spots within 30km of Murray Bridge that still have Cray's. Both spot's are not where many people would target

I just saw this on Facebook and found a version I could post on here. I thought it may be a handy reference for those that like colourful, shiny lures.
Now to decide what fish actually see these colours the same way we do. I believe UV plays a huge roll.

    Hi Noz,
I usually use a double clutch (garfish looking), 3 inch paddle-tail SP or ecogear SX48 and usually do alright.
I don't lose many lures as I use a 30 pound flouro trace and use my net anyway to lift the fish out of the water if the lure is that far down it's gob that the line will rub on the teeth.

Rapala X-rap has been doing well,  (aren't too bad on price if you can find a special). need to get creative for the larger models I have found this season.

Casting, I've had just as much success on Zman Grubs as I have the nice hard bodies. But trolling, IMO, you want something you can work slowly. The metals are good when they are on, but you'll snag plenty if you're fishing shallow and trolling slowly, not to mention lack of action on many.

Shallow divers often run pretty straight, as long as they are half decent. Get something from Atomic or rapala, storm, even halco tbh. The little scorpions are meant to dive to 1.2m and run well behind a boat. A 60mm version would do well.

The double clutch is one of our biggest selling lures at the shop. Mainly the 75mm ones...
Our supplier is finding hard to get stock from daiwa and only getting dribs and drabs here and there.

My fave colours are black sniper, black and gold and iwana... my opinion that they are the most versatile hb on the market.
